a desert wedding

December 29th my good 'ol friend Alicia Trujillo got hitched in St. Geezy, a.k.a. St. George.
We packed up the car and had ourselves a little road trip!
She asked me to do the flowers for her wedding and I couldn't say no! I was nervous because I was going to have to have the flowers delivered from Provo and I was not going to be there when they arrived. I was also nervous because I wasn't going to have the studio I work in to have all my supplies on hand so I had to carefully pack everything that I thought I might need. If I forgot any supplies, I was sure gonna be out of luck! I've done weddings on my own before but this was extra pressure since it was for a close friend! I usually just drop the flowers off and take off and if they don't like the flowers I usually don't hear about it. But this time, I was going to be there the whooooole time and hear everyone's comments on them. Luckily Alicia was a super easy bride and had really great ideas and also allowed me to have some creative freedom! Needless to say, I had a great time and I think it all turned out pretty good!
So happy for Alicia and Brett! This wedding was a long time coming!
The day before the wedding... Alicia's first time through the temple!

Yogurt with Alicia for her last night as a single lady!
